You can also use System Restore to get before the problem began, then check for Updates with the Hide Update tool and hide them. If this was caused by Windows Update(s) then you can check which were installed at Settings>Update & Security>Windows Update under Update History, then uninstall them from the link there, and immediately hide with the Hide Updates tool downloaded from here. My PortraitPro service professional has been quiet the last few days. In the meantime, do you have any other things I could try? I have uninstalled and reinstalled the plug-in multiple times, manually installed the "shortcut" to the Photoshop CC folder. Script you sent did not resolve the issue. I thought it was a Folder Permission that was blocking Photoshop from launching the PortraitPro. Unfortunately, I cannot remember how I finally resolved it.

Two years ago when I upgraded from Windows 8 to Windows 10. I am not sure that it is a Photoshop problem, all my other plug-ins work fine, and this one gave me a similar problem I did run the Trusted Owner script but that did not work. IĪlso deleted the PortraitPro launch file from my Photoshop CS5 and CS6 versions. I did go into my Users folder and search for PortraitPro, but could not find anything there. had to correct manually to v12 exectuable = "C:\Program Files (x86)\PortraitPro Studio 12\PortraitProStudio.exe" that is after v11 uninstall and 3 v12 reinstallations. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Anthropics\PortraitProfessional\AppPath still had the path and the name Here is what glorious v12 installer failed to update in my registry : I did not understand this reference in the discussion thread you forwarded me from PortraitPro I do not quit for those who are polite and cooperative. _ Windows MVP 2010-20 Millions helped via my tutorials and personally in forums for 12 years.
